Lessons and Safety Policy
Here at Distilled Vocals we offer Private Face-to-Face lessons (In Home), and Virtual. It is our goal to help you get the most out of every single one, so we want to make sure we try to limit all distractions. This is why we ask that no parents, friends, or family members be directly in the same designated studio area or attempt conversations with the student while coaching is in session. However, please feel free to sit in and watch our lesson from a distance. If during the lesson you are learning specific repertoire, you must be prepared with all materials. Failure to come prepared would cause the students' lesson to be shortened by 15 minutes the first time and will result in cancelled lessons if they continue, still being charged for the class. Each of the lessons will Start and End at the booked time even if you are late. Always be prepared and ready to start; especially, if our teachers are doing a Private Face-to-Face lesson at your home. If you have a Virtual class scheduled please make sure you have acceptable high speed internet connection. It is your responsibility to make sure everything is properly connected before your class times. No rescheduled class will be available if you discover internet problems right upon lessons. If something happens that is outside of your control please contact us ASAP.
Consultation Requirement for All In-Person Lessons
Mandatory Consultation: All Face-to-Face lessons require a preliminary consultation before booking. This allows us to discuss your goals, assess your needs, and ensure a successful lesson experience.
New Clients: If you are a new client or have not completed a consultation, please book a consultation session first before booking your in-person lesson.
Lesson Type and Location Selection
Client Responsibility: During the booking process, clients must accurately specify their preferred lesson format and location.
Virtual Lessons: Clients booking virtual lessons will receive a link to the online meeting prior to their appointment. No travel fees apply to virtual lessons.
In-Person Lessons: Clients booking face-to-face lessons must agree to the consultation requirement and the travel fee policy, if applicable.
Rescheduling and Cancellation: Failure to adhere to the consultation requirement for in-person lessons may result in the rescheduling or cancellation of the appointment.
Safety Protocol for In-Person Lessons
Safe Environment: We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all lessons. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if we feel unsafe or uncomfortable in any way.
Client's Home: For lessons at your home, you agree to provide a secure and distraction-free space suitable for the lesson. You also agree to secure any pets or other potential hazards prior to our arrival.
Liability: The client acknowledges and agrees that they assume all responsibility and risk for any injuries or damages that may arise during or as a result of the lesson, particularly for sessions conducted at their residence.

For WEEKLY and MONTHLY packages ONLY, these credits do NOT expire, and you can always change the date of your lesson if you are unable to have it that day.
